नेपाली समाजमा सयौं प्रकारका परम्परा छन्। त्यही परम्परगत विभिन्न लोक संस्कार र संस्कृति पनि छन्। त्यसैअन्तर्गत पर्ने रामेछाप जिल्ला लगायत अन्य ३२ वटा जिल्लामा प्रचलित भाकालाई समेटेर बनाईएको मकै बाली गोड्दा किसानले गाउँने रामदली नामक एक प्रकारको गीत अहिले लोप हुँदै गएको छ।   पछिल्लो युवा पुस्ता विदेश पलायन हुँदै जानु र कृषिमा आधुनीकरणले छाउँदै गएपछि रामदली भाकाले चिनिने गाउँले घाँसेगीत पनि लोप हुँदै गएको छ।आदिवासी /जनजाति समुदायले विशेष गरेर सामुहिक रुपमा मैकै बाली गोड्दा बैशाख तथा जेठ महिनामा गाइने एक प्रकारको गित हो रामदली।    पहिला पहिला धेरै मकै गोड्ने काम पर्दथ्यो र धेरै जाना जम्मा भएर रामदली खेलाइन्थ्यो, 'यहि हो रामदल’ भनेर समूहले एकै स्वरमा गाईने रामदलीको आफ्नै मौलिता र पहिचान छ।  गाउँलेलाई एक बनाएर मकै गोड्ने काममा लगाउन प्रेरित गर्ने गीत अहिले गाउँमा काम गर्ने युवा पनि छैनन्, मकै बाली पनि पहिलाको जसरी लगाउँदैन। नगदे बाली लगाउने प्रचलन बढ्दै गएकाले रामदली गाउने चलन हट्दै गयो।‘सामुहिक रुपमा काम गर्नको लागि गोलबन्द बनाउने गीतको रुपमा यसको संरक्षण गर्न जरुरी ...

I feel that my hard work and dedication to Nepali film songs, music, and national pride has been rewarded. It is a great privilege to have received the "Janasewashree" Award from the Government of Nepal, presented by President Ramchandra Paudel himself.
